Conservation Minnesota has exclusive video of the small tornado that formed right over south Minneapolis this afternoon around 2 p.m. Kristin Clark, a meteorologist at Paul Douglas’ Weather Nation caught the video.

Very lame. I hate when a station claims to have video of a tornado then they show the talking head pointing at a screen that is showing the video of the tornado. Just show the raw video and don't imbed it in the forecast video, post a completely separate link with the raw video!

Hard t find the video, Ron? What are you blind? There is a big bold note right on Paul's blog telling you exactly where it is.

Very bad site design. After more than a couple of minutes of searching this site, I finally went to the MinnPost site and found the tornado clip in about five seconds.
Nice video, though.

I agree that your site is difficult to navagate Paul; but I am so glad to have made the effort to figure it out. I could see exactly what you were talking about. But then I have gotten quit an education about how to tell these things from watching you for many years on TV. I moved for three years and was dissapointed when I moved back not to find you on the news any longer; so you have made my day!

The tornado is pretty clear to me . . . expand the view to full screen and you can see it all . . . though if you are trying to watch it on a tiny little phone screen or some other little view of course you won't see anything . . .

I found it. iPhone video, not great. Hard to make out anything at all:

Gratuitous use of the word 'debris.' At least four times in the first three seconds.

I hate to complain, because it sounds like you did a great job, but if there's a tornado in that video, I certainly can't see it. It's an internet video of Paul Douglas standing in front of an LCD monitor that claims to show the video of the tornado. Yeah, a video of a video. Is there any way you could post just YOUR video?

Yes, agree! site is very hard to navigate around. confusing!
In watching the video, doesn't it appear that a small tornado goes to the ground for a quick second. It is right to the right of the dark funnel cloud Paul is talking about. He says some evidence of debree...and then watch something go across the screen and looks like it goes to the ground and back up quick. what is that?

To see the video, you have to click on the link above, which says, "Click on." This will take you to the main page. Look at the video box at the top of the page, and click on the "Today's Forecast Video." It doesn't look as if it is the video of the tornado, because the picture is of the staff of Weather Nation, but it is Paul showing the tornado video.
I agree that it's ridiculously convoluted and confusing. I find this site very difficult to navigate, and I can't see half of the features in Safari 4.02.
