Conservation Minnesota & Conservation Minnesota Voter Center are seeking a talented finance and management professional to help achieve our missions. Conservation Minnesota isn’t the biggest non-profit organization, but we deliver big results. So lets be candid…we are looking for someone who is excited to be our finance department, our HR department, our office manager, and the go-to person to assist the board and executive director. We are looking for the glue that holds an effective, nimble and entrepreneurial organization together. Duties include:
Financial Management
• Budgeting and financial planning
• Develop and implement financial policies
• Oversee and reconcile institutional accounts
• Prepare financial reports
• Processing payables, receivables and payroll
• Work with management to ensure stable cash flow
Human Resources & Office Management
• Manage Human Resources
• Review and approve all contracts
• Manage leases and rental agreements
• Benefit Plan Management
• Build and maintain a good working environment
Compliance, Reporting & Risk Management
• Provide reports to the IRS and other relevant regulatory bodies
• Obtain, review and maintain adequate insurance policies
• Oversee annual audit
Board and Executive Director Support
• Serve as Liaison to the Audit Finance Committee
• Create and maintain Board Meeting records
• Manage materials and preparation for Board Meetings
• Provide administrative support to the Executive Director
