Winter 2013 Newsletter: Meet Conservation Minnesota

Staff-Photo-200Conservation Minnesota is growing!  We are pleased to introduce you to some of the newest additions to our team, and re-acquaint you with those of us who have been here awhile.

From left to right: Sam Larsen-Ferree joined us in August as our Development and Communications Coordinator.  Danielle Rice, Digital Media Manager, is our longest serving employee having just celebrated her eleventh anniversary.  Paul Austin, Executive Director, isn’t far behind with nine years under his belt.  Rebecca Luxenberg joined our team just over a year ago as the Finance Director.  Jaclyn Urness returned to Minnesota in September to be our Campaign Manager.  Meredith Keller and Kathleen Schuler both joined the team in October.  Meredith is our Minnesota Waters Program Coordinator, and Kathleen is our Healthy Kids and Families Program Director.  And Julia VanAvery has been our Development Director for over five years.  Not pictured is Liz Deering, our Operations Manager, who has been with us for seven years and is currently on maternity leave.  We can’t wait for her to return!

Our goal at Conservation Minnesota is to protect the Minnesota you love by tackling our State’s most important issues.  Having the right team is more important than ever. The addition of these new teammates helps us to better provide you with useful information, making sure your views and values are respected by state leaders, and protecting the things you love about Minnesota.
