Good News! On Friday, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed the Formaldehyde in Children’s Personal Care Products Act (HF 458) and the BPA in Children’s Food Packaging Act (HF 459). Thanks to so many of you who helped by contacting your Representatives! Now we await action by the State Senate on these important measures to protect children from exposure to toxic chemicals.
Protecting children from toxic chemicals may seem like common sense to most of us. But there were several legislators who voted against these bills. How did your Representative vote? Find out by visiting www.CheckMyLegislator.org. Simply enter your address to find your Representative’s page. Then send them a message, using the contact link on their page, to let them know what you think of their vote.
Together, we can protect Minnesota families.
