May1eventphotos1Did you know that between 2010 and 2011 Minnesota’s output of solar and wind power increased by 42%?  Or that Minnesota ranks 4th in the nation in terms of net electricity generated from wind energy?

We have a lot to be proud of!  Minnesota is leading the way into a clean energy future that will bring benefits to health, water, air, and natural resources.  That’s why we’d like to invite you to the Climate, Clean Water, and Clean Energy Forum sponsored by the Lutheran Coalition for Public Policy in Minnesota (LCPPM) and our partner Fresh Energy.

Speakers include Paul Huttner, chief meteorologist for Minnesota Public Radio; Dr. Mark Seeley, University of Minnesota climatologist and meteorologist; and J. Drake Hamilton, science policy director at Fresh Energy.  Tammy Walhof, Director of LCPPM, will also provide faith reflections.
