Summer 2012: State Leaders Join Conservation Minnesota Team

Events at the State Capitol can affect us all.  Good decisions, like passing the Legacy Amendment and our Renewable Energy Standard, can improve our lives while protecting the people and places we love.  But poor decisions in St. Paul can wipe out years of hard work overnight.

To solve the problems that are most important to you, Conservation Minnesota must effectively impact these important decisions. As our world has become more polarized and complex, having the right team and the right strategy is more important than ever.

That’s why Conservation Minnesota is proud that so many of the state’s most respected leaders from all parties have joined our team.  Former United States Senator Dave Durenberger, former Congressman Jim Ramstad, former Speaker of the House Margaret Anderson Kelliher, former Senate Majority Leader Dean Johnson, and 2010 Independence Party Candidate for Governor Tom Horner are just a few of the prominent individuals who will lend their knowledge and experience to our board and staff in making key strategic decisions.
