How I contribute to the CM team: I work to engage key stakeholders throughout Minnesota on equitable access to the outdoors, protecting and increasing public lands, and working with a broad coalition to help tackle climate pollution.

Relevant experience: Graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a degree in Environmental Science and Management. I have a decade of experience on a variety of campaigns knocking doors, forming volunteer groups, and implementing innovative strategies.

Favorite MN places: Itasca State Park, Gooseberry Falls State Park, and Quarry Park and Nature Preserve

Favorite seasonal activities: Camping from spring to fall and ice fishing in the winter

Best outdoor advice: Always check your weather app before you go and never underestimate Lake Superior.

Special interest: Using my Celestron NexStar 6SE telescope to view planets, galaxies, nebula, and star clusters when the weather allows for it.

Minnesota is home to hundreds of species of plants and animals that are endangered, threatened, or of special concern. The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act would be the largest investment in wildlife conservation in a generation. Congress needs to pass the the Act before the end of the year—voice your support!

Minnesotans understand that pollution, wildlife, and water doesn’t stop at the border, so we recently advocated for the permanent protection of Ave Kwa Ame (Av-VEE kwa-meh), home to Spirit Mountain in Nevada, an area that’s vital to many Indigenous tribes. At the White House Tribal Nations Summit last Wednesday, the Biden Administration announced a commitment to designate up to 450,000 acres as the Avi Kwa Ame National Monument.
