In Minnesota, deicing salt has been washing off roads and walkways into our lakes and rivers for decades. Just one teaspoon of salt can permanently pollute five gallons of water. Join us for a special presentation from Connie Fortin, water resources senior project manager with Bolton & Menk, to learn how infrastructure can be better designed to minimize the amount of salt needed to keep people safe.
