Join us for a special online event to learn about Lottery funding for the Great Outdoors, and the upcoming state-wide vote needed to sustain it. We will be joined by Representative Athena Hollins, Chief Author of the lottery funding reauthorization bill, Carolina Ortiz, Associate Executive Director of COPAL, and Marcus Starr, Campaign Manager for Minnesotans For Our Great Outdoors

Join us to remove buckthorn from M.B. Johnson Park. Buckthorn is an invasive species that harms our ecosystems. Water, snacks, and tools will be provided. Please wear sturdy, close-toed shoes, work clothes, and gloves.

Help clean Gooseberry Park to ensure visitors' safety and enjoyment. Volunteers will walk the trails along the river and clean up any litter they find. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.

An educational workshop on night light pollution and its effects on wildlife, especially migration. Presenters will discuss bat population and health decline, the negative effects of light pollution, and ways we can reduce it. The event will include a 1-hour education session and a 2-hour bat box building session.
