Connect with community members to share stories, listen and make friends. Our changing world can be scary to navigate, especially emotionally. We’ll discuss the variety of emotions we have around climate change and how to turn those feelings into action. Bring your sustainability questions and your tips to share. We’ll have resource recommendations and hot tea! The group will meet biweekly, drop in when you can, please RSVP.

Get crafty with us at Gathering Ground, Minnesota Marine Art Museum’s Seasonal Saturday Event. We will have buckthorn medallions, a small disc of wood cut from removed invasive buckthorn, for people to color and take home. Learn about what we're doing in Winona and how you can help.

Count and identify local birds to help scientists around the world better understand their behaviors, migration patterns, and population numbers.

Join Conservation Minnesota and partners in removing invasive buckthorn along the Crooked Slough Nature Trail at the City of Winona’s Prairie Island Park. Equipment to be provided—gloves, saws, loppers, and herbicide. However, you are welcome to bring your own gloves and tools.

Join our latest Tell Me More: Talks with Conservation Minnesota. Learn from a panel of experts how wetlands play a critical role in keeping our water clean, and how the loss of wetlands in Minnesota has affected water quality and ecosystems. We'll discuss what work is being done to help restore wetlands, and what is needed for the future.

Conservation Minnesota and partners will host a screening of Plastic People at Pop’s Art Theater, followed by a panel featuring public health and environmental experts. The ground-breaking documentary investigates our addiction to plastic and the growing threat of microplastics on human health.
