Farmfest 2025: Working Together for Healthy Land & Water

Last week, Conservation Minnesota attended Farmfest in Southern Minnesota, where we connected with farmers, families, and community members who care deeply about our state’s land and water. Farmfest is a three-day fair that brings together people from across the region to showcase the latest in farming equipment, technology and services, and talk about the future of agriculture and rural communities.

Our team had meaningful discussions about clean water and the shared responsibility of protecting this vital resource for future generations. Whether it was talking about runoff and soil health or the impacts of extreme weather, it’s clear that Minnesotans—especially those who work the land—understand how important it is to keep our lakes, rivers, and drinking water safe and clean.

We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by to share their stories, concerns, and ideas. Farmfest reminded us that when we listen to each other and work together, real progress is possible. We’re excited to keep these conversations going as we continue advocating for clean water, sustainable farming, and healthy communities across Minnesota.
