Conservation Minnesota’s network delivered over 26,000 postcards, emails, and phone calls to legislators and Governor Walz this session urging them to take action on our shared conservation priorities.
An important issue we tracked and worked on this legislative session at Conservation Minnesota was the bipartisan proposal to ban the industrial solvent trichloroethylene, more commonly known as TCE.
With spring finally arriving, I’ve been thinking a lot more about the sun in general and solar power in particular. One exciting development I recently learned about is how Minnetonka is leading the way among city governments adopting solar power.
On April 9th, I was able to participate in a workshop in Eden Prairie focusing on the new organics recycling policy being implemented by Hennepin County.
Cities and their day to day work are highly visible and they have the unique ability to lead by example and provide the public with infrastructure to charge their own electric vehicles.
