The Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council (LSOHC) announced its annual Call for Funding Request from the Outdoor Heritage Fund, with approximately $160 million available in grants for statewide and metro-area projects. Requests are due by May 22.
Since the Outdoor Heritage Fund’s creation in 2008 as one of the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment's four funds, over 1.3 million acres of Minnesota forests, prairies, and wetlands have been restored, protected, or enhanced.
